Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services
Independence shapes lives. The Dual Recovery program at Upstate Cerebral Palsy provides temporary aid to assist individuals in getting back on their feet and once again, live independently.
Dual Recovery, an intensive case-management program, provides services for people who are homeless or at a significant risk of homelessness and who have a severe mental illness and substance abuse diagnosis.
Dual Recovery, a temporary assistance program, assists individuals in establishing and maintaining stability across all life domains. A short-term stabilization case-management program, Dual Recovery feeds into the larger system of care coordination. Case managers provide highly intensive services to individuals on an as-needed basis.
The Dual Recovery Network is a collaborative agreement between Upstate Cerebral Palsy, Central New York Services, and Mohawk Valley Council on Alcoholism/Addictions. Referrals for the Dual Recovery program come from community agencies including mental health clinics, hospitals, mental health professionals, outpatient and inpatient substance abuse treatment facilities, correctional facilities, self-referrals and more. All referrals are processed through the Department of Mental Health Single Point of Access and Accountability.
For more information about Dual Recovery, contact (315) 266-0628.
