The Tradewinds Education Center is comprised of a private school for children ages 5 through 21 years with developmental disabilities with complex behavioral management needs, and a residential component for children who can no longer remain in a traditional home setting. The school is licensed by New York State Education Department and the OMRDD. The primary focus of the program is to provide the student with appropriate social, behavior management and communication skills, which are needed in order to transition, back to their home school district.
