2010 Bowl for Kids' Sake

March 21, 2010 - Pin-O-Rama, Utica
Times: 11:00 am and 2:00 pm at both locations
Please join us for the 2010 Bowl for Kids' Sake to benefit the local Big Brothers Big Sisters Program. All proceeds stay local to help children in need of a caring, adult mentor. This year the Bowl for Kids' Sake will take place in 2 locations on 2 different dates: March 14 in Rome at King Pin Lanes and on March 21 in Utica at Pin-O-Rama. Times at both locations are 11:00am and 2:00pm.
Everyone who signs up for Bowl For Kids’ Sake receives a pledge form. Then, it’s just a matter of raising small donations. Friends, family members and local businesses can sponsor you for any amount. Anyone can enter, either individually or as a team. Teams are composed of five people each. This event is fun for all ages and experience levels.
Individual bowlers or smaller groups will be placed with other bowlers to form squads of five. A $35.00 minimum in pledges per person is required. Entrants with at least $35.00 in pledges receive their two Bowlathon games, shoe rental, and a free Bowl for Kids’ Sake t-shirt. Additional incentives include a stainless steel water bottle with a minimum of $75.00 in paid pledges, a beach towel and sunglasses with a minimum of $125.00 in paid pledges, and a grilling apron and tools with a minimum of $250.00 in paid pledges. Collect pledges and turn them in at the bowlathon. Any prize earned will be awarded when the pledges are fully collected.

Big Brothers Big Sisters matches adult volunteers with children primarily from single-parent homes. A Big Brother or Big Sister can have a major impact on a child's life and yet it's a truly simple process. It just takes some time, a love of life and a concern for children.
