Kim Matt, from Matt Funeral Services, received the Upstate Cerebral Palsy Community Partner of the Year Award on Thursday, May 22, 2008 at the Upstate Cerebral Palsy Annual Meeting at the Radisson Hotel in Utica. The Community Partner Award recognizes the value of collaboration and partnership with businesses and organizations that share our commitment to improving the quality of life in our community, particularly for people with differing abilities.
Kim Matt is truly a partner who is committed to improving the quality of life for the individuals in our various programs. She is active in volunteering at many agency events, such as taking photos at the American Girl Fashion show as well as providing limousine services for the Tradewinds Education Center Prom. Most importantly, in a professional way, she provides support when individuals at Upstate Cerebral Palsy reach life's end. With immense kindness she makes the transition easier for staff, family, and housemates; always remembering the importance of each individual to our agency. Upstate Cerebral Palsy would like to thank Kim for her tremendous and on-going support of the agency.
Upstate Cerebral Palsy is the premiere provider of direct-care services and programs for individuals who are physically, developmentally, or mentally challenged and their families, currently employing 1,800 full and part-time employees at over 74 locations throughout Madison, Oneida, Herkimer and Lewis Counties.
